NYSC: Two Passing Out Corps Members Crushed to Death by Truck in Bayelsa

On Monday at Swali Bridge in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa, two corps members were reportedly crushed to death by a trailer while others sustained injuries.

It was reported that, the 2017 Batch ''A'' stream ''2'' Corps Members who were on their way to do their final clearance in respect to their passing out parade which is to be held on Thursday, boarded a tricycle which was crushed by a moving trailer. 

Mr Ikechukwu Igwe, State Sector Commissioner of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said the injured Corps Members are currently receiving treatment at the Federal medical centre.

He also confirmed that there were 4  NYSC members in the tricycle, two were injured and the other two died as a result of the injury sustained in the accident.
